Tournament Rules

Tournament hours will be from safe daylight until weight in begins at 2:00 pm. Weight in ends at 2:30pm.

EVERY BOAT MUST receive a live-well inspection the morning of the tournament before participating.

THERE WILL BE NO BLAST OFF. Fishers will pre register before or register and pay the morning of the tournament, receive live-well inspection, then go to your starting spot and begin fishing at safe daylight. You can launch from any ramp on the scheduled lake.

You may weigh one dead fish without penalty. But a dead fish cannot be weighed as big fish.

Only largemouth and spotted bass will be weighed. Fish must measure 12 inches, at minimum, on a Golden Ruler with its mouth closed and tail straight.

Five fish limit per boat. You cannot have more than 5 fish in a live well at any given time. Cull as you go.

No trolling, no live bait, and no fishing within 50 yards of another tournament registered boat.

Contestants must abide by all Alabama Conservation and Natural Resources guidelines, in addition to all State and Local water safety standards.

Judges will inspect all live wells and boats prior to the start of the tournament.

Single fishermen are allowed with a maximum of two fishermen per boat.

To qualify as a parent/child or grandparent/grandchild couple, the child must be 16 or younger.

To qualify as a mixed couple, participants must be male and female.

The tournament committee reserves the right to disqualify questionable fish.

Any tie for a payout position will be broken by the participant's big fish.

No alcoholic beverages allowed in the boat or on the premises during tournament hours and weigh-in.

Any condition raising which is not covered by the above rules will be resolved by the tournament committee whose decision is FINAL.
